CC Communications in the last 18 months have been successful in the procurement bids of over 20 BSF/Academy tenders generating more than £120,000.00 for local Schools & Colleges, reference to the buy back of their legacy IT equipment
CC Communications Ltd / FEW Partnership will collect your old legacy ICT equipment free of charge from your school. Where possible they will be refurbish the equipment and provide it to people, organisations and charities who can't afford/aren't in a position to purchase new ICT equipment, if the equipment isn't working and can't be refurbished then CC Communications / FEW Partnership will recycle the equipment according to WEEE directives and all data will be erased to DoD 5220.22M standards.
Depending on the age and specification of the equipment they collect they will also provide a donation to the School, some High Schools may receive thousands of pounds.
As part of the collaboration with Furniture for Education Worldwide (FEW) www.fewcharity.co.uk , FEW will receive 25% of the money CC Communications donates to the Schools. FEW have so far supplied 59 forty foot steel containers of furniture to six different countries including Gambia, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Kenya, Ghana enabling children a better education through having adequate furniture and now IT equipment.
Over the past 24 months we supported the CWU (Commercial Workers Union) with 2 charity overseas trips to Romania and Bosnia donating over £30,000 of ICT hardware
